LNH Alums (and current class) in the News - 1/30/23
Michele Talwani, LNH '08, began work last week as the new Senior Vice President of Community Relations at Easterseals NH. Michele will work to build and deepen relationships, increase awareness, and raise donations for special projects in Rochester (senior affordable housing), Franklin (Veterans campus and services), and Manchester (residential educational for youth with neurobehavioral, developmental, and intellectual challenges). "I’ve joined a deeply mission driven organization with incredible people!" Michele currently serves on the board of Leadership New Hampshire as secretary and is on the advancement committee of NAMI NH.
Kelly Untiet, LNH '23, started her new position last month as Director of Development And Community Relations at CATCH Neighborhood Housing. Kelly is a lifelong NH resident with a career spanning government, non-profit, and for-profit organizations. Prior to CATCH, Kelly served a Community Engagement Manager with the Unite Us in NH coordinated care network and as the Administrator of the Office of Social and Emotional Wellness within the NH Department of Education. Kelly serves on the New Futures Board of Directors.
Matt Cookson, LNH '03, has been appointed board chair of the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce. Cookson is president and CEO of Cookson Communications and will serve a two year term as Chair. Matt is a co-founder of Stay Work Play New Hampshire and also serves on the board at Northeast Delta Dental and the Association for Corporate Development.
Rob Kleiner, LNH '23, just received the official confirmation of his appointment to the NHTI Advisory Board by the Community College System of New Hampshire Board of Trustees. This appointment is for a three year term. Rob is the Director of Quality Auditing at Northeast Delta Dental and also serves on the board of directors for both Kimball Jenkins as secretary and Concord Coalition to End Homelessness as treasurer. "After our education day, I just knew I needed to get involved somehow with the educational system in NH. Looking forward to this new adventure."
